News: Your phone system's server, now on your account
If we host your phone system, you'll now find the server it runs on listed right on your account. It's marked complimentary, because hosting your phone system is included free with your phone service with us.
What you'll see
- A new Virtual Server service, named after your phone system and marked (complimentary), at $0.00 a month. If your server is part of a paid hosting plan, it shows that plan instead, at the same price you pay today.
- The server's details: its address, processor cores, memory and disk, so you know exactly what your phones run on.
- Your 3CX login, one click away. If your phone system is 3CX, your licence page has a Log in to your PBX button that opens its web client. Sign in with your usual 3CX login.
Why we added it
Your phone system runs on its own virtual server in our data centre, on the same network as the lines that carry your calls. We've always hosted it for free with your phone service, but until now it never showed up anywhere. Now you can see what we look after for you.
We keep these servers patched, monitored and backed up, and because they sit right next to our phone network, your calls have the shortest possible path.
Where to find it
Sign in to the client area and open Services, then Virtual Servers. Your 3CX licence is under Services, then Licenses.
What you need to do
Nothing. There's nothing to pay and nothing changes on your bill or with your phones.
